Velcro Show 2008
August 30 — September 21 2008
An open exhibition for professional and amateur photographers, and non-photographers as well.
Composition Gallery presents The Velcro Show 2008, a photography exhibition open to everyone.
If you have a photographic image that you've taken, or found, and you think it has artistic merit, bring it in and we'll stick it on the wall; or take a new picture especially for the show. And don't worry, we'll have some artist tape on hand to protect your image from the velcro glue. Photographs will be on display during regular gallery hours through Sunday September 14th.
$5 entry fee for each photograph. Images should be unframed, unmatted, and no larger than 16 X 20 inches, and can be priced to sell or not. Prints will be hung as recieved. Title, photographer credit, and price should be clearly written or labeled on the border of the print or otherwise visible, if desired. Purchases are subject to sales tax and images for sale will be considered consigned merchandise. The gallery will retain a 20% commission on sold photos.
Bring your image by the gallery between now and Sunday August 24th. Prints should be picked up between Sunday September 14th and Sunday September 21st during regular gallery hours. Gallery hours and directions are at www.compositiongallery.com. Feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone who may be interested. We'll send a reminder as the date approaches. We appreciate your participation and look forward to seeing your work. Thank you.
